Medusa: A Tale for America
Written by
Christopher Vened and Rebecca Robertson-Szwaja
Medusa: – a Tale for America is a social drama of cancel culture during the @MeToo Movement. It is about the public shaming of playwright, Konrad Wolski, and his banishment from the Los Angeles theater community because he dared to speak his mind. His sin was being politically incorrect, his virtue, to stick with it.
Infidel
Written by
Christopher Vened
Infidel is a screenplay about Islamic terrorists kidnapping John Norton, an American anthropologist, from the Baghdad Museum. They hold him in a remote mountain cave for ransom. If no one pays, the kidnappers will behead him. The terrorists suspect John to be an undercover American spy. But John is merely a scholar specializing in Mesopotamian mythology. It is a case of a mistaken identity when an innocent victim is blamed for the ills of this world because if he is not one of us, he must be one of them.
Gilgamesh
Written by
Christopher Vened with Rebecca Robertson-Szwaja
Gilgamesh is a screenplay based on the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh, which is the oldest epic story ever written. The main theme of the story is fear of death and desire for immortality. Consequently, the moral of the story is that to strive for immortality is futile, so enjoy life as much as you can because it is short. But this is not enough for Gilgamesh. He wants to be immortal as the gods are.
